The Young Women's Leadership Academy (YWLA) welcomed a unique opportunity for growth and learning as part of EY Connect Day. This special event brought together EY professionals and YWLA students for a day of impactful workshops and mentorship.

The Young Women's Leadership Academy of San Antonio (YWLA San Antonio) is proud to announce the resounding success of our inaugural week-long Girls Summer Entrepreneurship Program (GSEP). Inspired by a similar initiative at the high school alma mater of one of our board members, GSEP was designed to expose rising junior and senior female students to the exciting world of entrepreneurship, empowering them to envision their futures as leaders and business owners.

The 44 graduates of the Young Women's Leadership Academy Class of 2023 celebrated their remarkable achievements at their Graduation Ceremony at the Alamo Convocation Center on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

YWLA’s Robotics team, the ElektraBots, competed at the Belton Qualifier and came out on top!

8 YWLA students were recognized for Academic Honors from the College Board National Recognition Program.

YWLA students created a chalk mural for the Artpace Chalk It Up community arts festival on Houston Street on October 8th!

A jubilant celebration was hosted on December 10, 2021 in recognition of the Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) earning the distinction of 2021 National Blue Ribbon School, placing it in elite company as one of the top one half of one percent of schools in the nation.

Cardinals worked together to revitalize the courtyard to provide a pleasant outdoor environment for their sisters to socialize and study.
